Remember the spirit of Jesus

A friend of mine walks up to me today and says "before someone else tells you our youth pastor had to resign because of accusations" now there is of course more gossip and speculation. But I told him to stop there.
When issues befall churches and other groups of Christian organizations there is no need for us to make it worse.
Show the world Jesus by not judging but loving. Don't let anger cost us the witness. God can work for his glory despite our failings.

Servants in Joy

How can we say we believe the bible? How can we say the God of then is the God of now? We do not act as an army of God! We fail to be servants to our master.

We have the teachings and stories of the kings and prophets, we have the teachings of the judges and and leaders from a time when God concentrated a people unto himself.

Is he not the same God? Are we not washed in the blood of the Son? Are we not his people?

Most all Christians I know will have answered yes to those questions. Then why don't we believe out God works miracles. Why do we shy away from confrontations? Why do we act ashamed?

The servant is never ashamed of the master! There is no reason for them to be. What we have to ask ourselves is who do we truly serve?

God or ourselves?

It's time we began to understand if we want to serve the kingdom we will have to stand up and be willing to confront the evils that prevail against us. God has already won, allowing us to serve in joy!!

"Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces." (NLT) ( Psalm 34:5 )

What the servants need has been supplied by the master.
